Making Visa and Citizenship Applications in Bangladesh

Lodging An Application Online

Bangladeshi passport holders can lodge a range of visa applications online. These include family migration visas, visitor visas and citizenship by descent applications. If you do not know what type of visa you may be seeking or whether you can apply online, please see the Individuals and Travellers section in the main Department of Home Affairs website (https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Trav).

Lodging An Application in Person

The Department of Home Affairs in Dhaka has a Service Delivery Partner arrangement with VFS Global to provide Australian visa lodgement services. All applications lodged in Bangladesh for Australian visas can be lodged at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Dhaka and biometrics can be collected at the same time.

Please note that all the visa applications lodged at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Dhaka will be processed by our offices in Delhi and Colombo.
