Research and Communications Officer


The Australian High Commission in Dhaka seeks applications from the qualified Bangladeshi citizens for the position of Research and Communications Officer.

The successful applicant will be required to perform the tasks mentioned in the attached Duty Statement. The gross salary is Taka 54,077 per month, with an annual bonus of Taka 87,605 plus other admissible benefits e.g. group life insurance, health insurance, and separation gratuity. Under the High Commission’s Staff Performance Management System, a performance bonus may also
apply. The successful applicant will be employed on a fixed-term contract for up to two years, under Locally Engaged Staff (LES) conditions.

A merit selection process will be undertaken to fill the vacancy. The duty statement and selection criteria for the vacancy are attached. Appropriately qualified applicants should provide a recent photograph, a curriculum vitae, a one page statement addressing the selection criteria and two referee letters commenting on the applicant’s abilities to perform the duties of the position
