Renewal of Passport

If your current passport has expired or is full, you must complete the documentation same as mentioned above and submit it with the existing passport in person to have a new passport issued. You also need to pay the appropriate passport application fees. Supplementary pages cannot be added to an existing passport.

A simplified one page PC 7 form can now be used by adult Australians to renew their passports. But access to the renewal service is restricted to those adult Australians who are in possession of an Australian passport that is current or expired less than twelve months that had more than 2 years validity and where the applicant has not changed their name or sex. Applicants can either request the Australian High Commission for a partially filled PC 7 form by answering a series of questions or can complete and print a PC 7 form via the passport website.
